The day I made these the 49ers played and lost their chance to go to the Super Bowl. It was a tough day in the Cosgrave house. Our appropriately colored drinks were very very tasty none the less.
Mimosa’s are truly one of my favorite cocktails. I go very light on the orange juice. I like a good full glass of sparkling wine with just a hint of citrus. I have tried grapefruit juice, orange juice and clementine juice. Blood orange is my favorite.
Blood Orange Mimosa
Sparkling Wine
1 Blood Orange, juiced
Fill champagne flute ¾ of the way. Add a splash of fresh Blood Orange juice.
Makes 2 mimosas.
